When my daughter was born, a progressive hemangioma grew on her chest. She required strong medication which caused her to become a floppy, non-engaging baby. She needed a lot of sensory stimulation, movement integration, and functional mobility training. Early intervention physical therapy helped her catch up to the rest of her peers.

Who are Buddy & Bear?

During Q&A questions with our kids, a nightly ritual when we gather in our backyard, I was asked what we would name our business if we had one. Our eldest Kaley was quick to answer. "You should name it Buddy & Bear!" It was love at first sound. Benjamin is the youngest who immediately caught on to the name "Buddy". Maya is our second youngest who always had such boldness that we called her "Bear".
